GLAM is by far the best mix I've put together. It contains some of the best music of 2007.
"I Found You" is a phenomenal song. It starts the mix yet I did struggle with deciding whether to use it as the first song. The other choice would have been "Ride The Strom". This track is definitely one of my all time favorites.
"Soul Heaven" is a rework of a classic track by The Goodfellas. The soulful, energetic vocals by Terry B lend themselves well. Soul inspirational!
Todd Terry, DJ Sneak, Kenny Dope Gonzalez (usually associated with MAW) and Terry Hunter collaborate together on "Get Down". This is Stritcly Rythm's first release in over five years. Tara McDonald performs the vocals on this track.
You may not know the name but you will most definitely be familiar with the voice. Tara McDonald is the vocal talent behind the massive club and chart smash hit “My My My” from Armand Van Helden and the huge anthem, “Feel The Vibe” from Swedish maestro Axwell. These tracks took the charts by storm, both debuting at 1 in the club charts, before they peaked in the UK sales charts at 12 and 16 respectively.Described as a hauntingly beautiful, upbeat number by beatportal. "Ride The Storm" was written and performed by Andrew Roachford. Roachford is usually classified as a British funk-rock-soul band. The song was remixed by Carl Kennedy and Kennedy describes the song as a magical record made with honesty, love and a lot of pain. One his favorite tracks and most definitely one of mine.

"Music Will Make Everything Alright" is the best track on GLAM. The syth sounds on this Electro House mix are a delightful throwback to the 80's. The hook on this track reminds me of my daughter, a true music aficionado like her dad.
The next two Electro tracks "Together As One" and "Shinning Star" compliment each well in the mix. It must be the slamming electro bass lines. They also add to GLAM's positive vibe. I put "Shinning Start" in the mix as a dedication to my wifey.
"Something About You" is a great rework of an old Level42 song of the same name. The original song debuted sometime around the mid 80's. The video to the original song is available on You Tube
Micheal Mind's revisit of "Ride Like The Wind" by Christopher Cross ends the electro set. I chose to use the Klaas remix. I just wasn't feeling the full vocal mix.
The next three songs are remixes and a remake of classic house music tracks. "Push The Feeling On" originally released in 1992 by the Nightcrawlers has since been remixed on several occasions. Just recently remixes of this track have included remixes by Roger Sanchez, Belocca, and Kurtis Mantronik. None as good as the original "Dub of Doom" remix by Marc Kinchen or the recent Robbie Rivera remix which I used. Another recently remixed track originally released in 1992 by Degrees of Motion, "Do You Want It Right Now" featured vocals by Biti. I like this remix for it's simplicity which compliments the powerful vocals. "Show Me Love" originally done in 1993 by Robin S is a classic and a favorite. Initially I dismissed this song but it grew on me very quickly. Mobin Master with Karina Chavez on the vocals do an exceptional job with this song. She does a great job of making it her song. When the stereo is cranked up to +10, I enjoy the piercing vocals and effects on this track.
I come back full circle with "I Found You", again. ;) You know I feel about this song, phenomial. This time though you get to experience the Remode remix.
